Legacy in Motion
Legacy isn't just about what you leave behind—it's about the impact that endures long after you're gone. CorePilot is more than just software; it's legacy in motion, built alongside industry veterans who know what it takes to keep aviation running. It’s a next-gen ERP that moves at the speed of your team, empowering you to leave a lasting impact and inspire the next generation to carry it forward.

A new customer recently told me that CorePilot would be part of the legacy they leave behind when they retire. That struck a chord—especially because in tech, we often refer to outdated, clunky ERPs as “legacy systems.” So it got me thinking:

What does legacy really mean?

By definition, it’s what you leave behind—your systems, values, and the impact that remains long after you're gone.

But real legacy doesn’t stop when you do. When you inspire the next generation to build, to lead, and to carry things forward—that’s legacy in motion.

For me, CorePilot isn’t just software. It’s legacy in motion.

It’s named in honor of my favorite pilot—my dad, Lt. Col. Thomas “Divot” Smith. He was the second in our family to fly the F-16, after his father, and the third generation of Air Force pilots, starting with my great-grandfather who flew in WWII. Now, my brother carries that torch and will be flying the F-16 as well.

Four generations. One shared love for aviation. That legacy is the foundation of CorePilot.

And we built CorePilot to keep that legacy in motion—a next-generation, AI-powered ERP designed for the people who keep aviation running behind the scenes. The ones solving high-stakes problems under pressure, moving parts quickly and safely, and keeping aircraft in the sky.

No more clunky, outdated systems. CorePilot is fast, intuitive, and built to keep up—because that’s how your team works.

We didn’t just build it for the industry—we built it with the industry. Side by side with veterans who’ve lived the day-to-day. In a very real way, CorePilot is their legacy in motion, too.

The result? A system that gets out of your way so you can focus on what matters most: your customers, your growth, and leaving the kind of legacy that keeps moving long after you’ve moved on.

For me, growing up, the sound of jet engines meant freedom. Hangars felt more like home than any house we lived in. CorePilot is my way of giving back to that world—my own legacy in motion.

Don’t let your legacy be a legacy system. They weren’t built for today—let alone tomorrow. Let them stay in the past.

Build something better. Inspire what’s next. Give the next generation next-gen tools—so your legacy doesn’t end with you. It carries forward. It stays in motion.
